A Fairy Tale Gulf Coast Wedding | Britainy and Nick

Britainy and Nick's elegant wedding was held at The Lake House at Camellia Palms on a breezy November afternoon.

While they shared their love for each other under our Spanish Moss-adorned trees, Britainy and Nick's rustic decorations of sunflowers, white roses and eucalyptus told a love story that is timeless and classic.

Every detail of Britainy and Nick's wedding was meticulously planned all the way down to their unique guest book. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with the opportunity to sign a wooden Jenga block as a keepsake for Britainy and Nick to use for many years to come. As loved ones then made their way to the Pecan Ceremony Site, they first noticed the golden circular arch adorned with sunflowers and flowing fall greenery that awaited the bride at the end of the aisle. The wedding ceremony was made complete with a white floral aisle runner lined with the Psalm, "Love is patient, love is kind, love does not envy, love does not boast..."

When the wedding began, the bridesmaids's and groomsmen's looks were made complete with their custom bouquets and boutonnieres by Magnolia's Flowers to create the perfect finishing touch to the fairy-tale like ceremony.

After the newly married Mr. & Mrs. Walden made their way back up the sunflower-adorned aisle, guests walked under the Spanish moss canopy to the fully decorated reception site that looks out to views of Lake Jackson. While waiting for pictures to be made, guests were invited to partake in appetizers and the couple's favorite popcorn bar that included flavors like classic, chocolate and even banana.

Once asked to find their seat, many small but special touches such as a sparkling gold table runner on the bridal table and lanterns with matching floral arrangements made the reception stunning. The remainder of the night was enjoyed with food and cake from Kingdom Life Worship and Training Center, toasts made by loved ones, and dancing the night away.

Once the fairy tale ceremony was over and our couple got to enjoy their first moments of marriage together, guests couldn't help but see the joy and love that was radiating from them both during Britainy and Nick's first dance under the stars. It began as a slow dance with the couple laughing, smiling, and quietly singing to one another as the music spoke of their unending love. To the guests surprise, the music then switched to an upbeat song while Britainy broke out into a surprise dance just for her newlywed husband, Nick. In this moment guests couldn't deny the love Britainy and Nick have for one another and their excitement about the start of their new lives.
