A Lake Side 'Minimony' | Allison and Jake

Allison and Jake's minimony wedding celebration was held on the banks of Lake Jackson on a crisp but sunny December day. In front of a burgundy and white adorned moon gate arch, Allison and Jake committed their lives to one another with the company of their immediate loved ones. As the sun began to make it's way across the sky, Allison & Jake sweetly and simply said, "I do."

DECOR AND DETAILS

From sugar cookies embellished with Allison and Jake's monogram to the multitude of savory and sweet favors, guests could not help but see that this celebration was planned down to the last detail. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with the chance to sign a wooden heart piece to place within a picture frame guestbook. Once guests made their way to the Lakeside ceremony, they noticed the gold vase-lined aisle that led straight to our moon gate arch, adorned with flowing white drapery made complete with burgundy, red, and white florals.

The bridesmaid and groomsman wore coordinating taupe, made complete with bouquets and boutonnieres made by Alan Cotton, and brown and silver embellished cowboy/girl boots.

After the ceremony was completed and the new Mr. and Mrs. Page were escorted to take their first photos as husband and wife, guests made their way back to our reception deck to partake in appetizers by The Depot Restaurant.

Guests found the tables decorated with coordinating greenery, wooden vases, tea light candles, and lanterns. The remainder of the night was enjoyed with cake, punch, and tasty favors all made by a family loved one.

FAVORITE MOMENT

Like many Covid-19 weddings, Allison and Jake's ceremony was planned only a few weeks out and so a lot of items for the celebration were loaned or given to the couple from their loves ones. This wedding took "something borrowed" to a whole new level! Allison's dress was loaned to her from a friend, the cakes were made by a family member, and the punch bowl and other decorative items were given to the couple by family. All these items not only helped to make this day extra special for our bride and groom, but also gave them a memory of their special day to cherish many years to come.
