Fun Fall Wedding Décor Ideas
It's never to early to start dreaming about the decor for your Fall 2021 or Fall 2022 wedding! That's why our Camellia Palms team is so excited to share this round up of some of our favorite fall wedding decor elements!
Fall has many aspects associated with it that lend themselves to putting together the perfect wedding theme. Think: vibrant colors, seasonal goodies and cozy sweaters...
Here are a few of our favorite wedding decorating ideas!
Natural Autumn Elements: “Fall” in love with natural elements from the season. Think of all things harvest related! Brightly colored leaves or stalks of wheat can change up classic floral arrangements. Mini pumpkins and decorative gourds can be used as is or be painted to fit a certain palette and add a charming touch to centerpieces. Even rosy red apples can be made into place card holders or incorporated into signature cocktails. Maybe even a custom apple cider bar for your guests!
Boho/Hippie Chic: Bohemian style weddings are very romantic. Varying textures are present throughout: Luscious florals, flowy clothing, colorful rugs. Flower crowns and wide brimmed hats take the place of veils. Tables could be decorated with macramé table runners, recycled wine bottle vases or mini succulent pots. Mismatching is encouraged, whether that means place settings, bridesmaids dresses or vintage lanterns. Nature is often incorporated as well so a send off with biodegradable confetti or plant-able place cards made with flower seed paper are a sweet touch!
Rustic/Country Style: While many weddings are designed with the intention of making everything look sleek and perfect, rustic weddings take the rough and unfinished and make it pretty. Reclaimed barn wood signs painted with elegant calligraphy. Burlap and twine are combined with lace and baby’s breath to give it a soft feel. All sizes of Mason jars can be used for wedding favors, drinkware or even subtle centerpieces. Wildflower bouquets or arrangements with dried flowers help to set a pleasant tone.
Gothic/Dark themes: More couples are planning weddings that shun the traditional to reflect their unique tastes. Due to this, Gothic weddings have recently gained popularity, especially with Halloween being in the middle of the fall season. Dramatic, black dresses are picked over white, blood red roses over baby pink and don't be surprised to find little skulls or crows interspersed throughout the space. Draped velvet, dark feathers, and flickering candles (Flameless LED candles are permitted at our venue!) can set a romantic ambiance.
Whether you have a straight forward theme in mind or like a little bit of everything, what is most important in wedding planning is that the aesthetic of your wedding makes you happy!
