Camellia Palms Retreat Center is located on the Alabama/Florida state line and welcomes visitors from all over the United States, and even international quilters and crafters.

We host over 1,000 retreaters a year, and we're happy to be know as the best place in the Southeastern U.S. to bring your quilting friends for a sewing & socializing getaway.

From the morning coffee & chatting in rocking chairs, to sewing all day, to sipping wine and laughing endlessly in your pajamas, we know that the time on retreat is special. It's not an experience you'll get anywhere else.

That's why we only do ONE thing - retreats. And we do it extremely well.

Our historic lakefront home allows you to find relaxation with our quality bedding and spacious bedrooms, to gaze out the windows at the beautiful lake & cypress trees, relax on our back deck with your coffee or wine in hand, or take short, enjoyable walks into downtown Florala to coffee shops, restaurants, antique stores, and gift shops.

The crystal clear ocean water of Destin and Fort Walton Beach, Florida is less than an hour's drive. Enjoy the beach's white sands and soak up the sun -- we are just across the state line from Florida! Surf, watch dolphins, taste local seafood, and all of your other favorite beach activities are just a short trip away.
