Retreat House
When you come on retreat with us, your group stays in our historic lake house. We only book one group at a time, so your stay is completely private and contactless.
Our 4,000 square foot historic Victorian home is set up perfectly for small group retreats. The 1.25 acre peaceful property overlooks the beautiful Lake Jackson. Our purposefully-designed Retreat Room has unlimited natural light, panoramic lake views, comfortable fans & air conditioning (or heating if you need it, but it's not often on the Gulf Coast).
Retreat Room
Our main Retreat Room on the ground floor has space for up to 10 individual work stations, cutting stations, ironing stations, design walls, and tons of natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking beautiful Lake Jackson, Alabama's largest natural lake.
Our space is perfect for all kinds of crafting & women's retreats including quilt retreats, scrapbooking or papercrafting retreats, crochet and knitting getaways, writing retreats, artist retreats, women's ministry and church retreats, and any other kind of small group getaway for women.
If you are bringing up to 14 guests, we will put 8 retreaters in the Retreat Room and the remaining workstations set up in the adjoining Dining Room.

Our bright, airy bedrooms are furnished with comfortable bedding, extra quilts, and comfortable seating areas for a private phone call or cozying up with a book.
Linens and towels are gladly included!
Enjoy our plush bath towels, crisp white linens, and locally made soaps. Soak in a deep clawfoot tub in one of our beautifully-restored bathrooms. We welcome you to your rooms with fresh flowers.
Our retreat center has high-speed internet, but no televisions.

Dining
Since we know that everyone has different dietary preferences & needs, we do not provide meals.
We offer a fully furnished kitchen for cooking your own meals, or you are welcome to enjoy any of our great local restaurants (we include our local guide in our welcome packet upon booking).
Kitchen Amenities: This includes a traditional coffee brewer, a Keurig, a crockpot, toaster, microwave, and blender. There is a full size refrigerator and freezer for your use. We have all the utensils, pots and pans, drinkware, dishware, and silverware you will need.
For dining:
We have a large dining table on our back deck when the beautiful weather invites you to dine al fresco.
We also have an indoor dining room with seating for 14 (unless your group uses it for crafting!)

We offer better amenities, designed specifically for craft retreats, than other rental options.

We book retreats year-round and popular dates in the Spring & Fall fill very quickly. Most of our groups re-book the same weeks year after year, making their annual retreat getaway a non-negotiable in their schedule.
